a cousin of mine,
i didnt know much
we talked and we walked
and it rained
so he hid in the closet and
brought out the lights
and wandered around in his dream

so he pressed on and kept up
and gave her the dreams
he fanned it and lit it
when the wind made it dim

now she's younger
but now
the dreams are kept sealed

for the wind to be tempered
and the lamps to be filled.

my mum just told me a little while ago,
she didnt want me to know yesterday
cos of my chinese a levels.
but she told me today,
after my cousin suffered a heart attack some time last week,
the wake was held yesterday
he's got a ten year old daughter in fairfield primary
and much to be sad about but it didnt let it get to him, he kept on working, creating the best family he could for his daughter too.
his sister's very solid. the strong-woman type with a very full life and family, someone i admire alot.
now his mum is staying with her, and i hope his daughter and family will be able to pass through this period with a hope in their hearts still, i'm sure he doesnt want them to let any of his efforts just fall by the side. it's been a distant time, but i hope he's kept his faith and is in heaven where there's no more pain.

from what really matters,
going to do PW later is..
i don't want to go.

i want to visit my aunt. ahh
how many christmases spent together
and how many chinese new years we've had to relish being cousins. although we were like quite far apart in terms of age, he had a very strong sense of family too.

somethings dont matter anymore.

God, please show yourself so real to his daughter , friends, family, ahboh too. God, bring your peace and strength and the peace that he's home
